Computer Maker Dell launched their Technology Services business in India. It remains to be seen whether Dell can compete with the existing ITES majors. However, their recent aquisition of Perot Systems is sure to improve their chances. Dell, a company which made a name for itself by driving down prices in the computer manufacturing space, is likely to attempt to do the same in the ITES space.

Could this mean the end of salary increases for job seekers in the Bangalore market? Our gut tells us they will struggle to keep costs low and hire quality workers at the wages they are likely to require in order to be competitive.
